Trump\u2019s niece, Mary Trump, has been very vocal in her criticisms of her uncle. In 2020, she published a memoir about him and their family titled \u2018Too Much and Never Enough\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary is the daughter of Trump\u2019s late elder brother, Fred Trump Jr, who died from a heart attack in 1981.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the businessman\u2019s return to The White House for his second term, Mary described the event on her social media as \u2018uniquely dangerous times\u2019, adding that the US needed to \u2018start showing up in different ways from what we might be used to\u2019 (via Newsweek).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also revealed that her fears in the run-up to the 2020 election, which saw Trump lose against Joe Biden, were: \u201cWhat happens if Donald gets a second shot at the presidency?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that such an event has happened, she argued in a recent interview with The Telegraph that people need to be wary of his intentions as President as the psychologist shared her belief that not only will Trump opt for another term in the White House, but that he will do so \u2018for life\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump has previously teased the idea of staying in power for a third term despite this would go against what it says in the 22nd Amendment, which staunchly prohibits a president from running for more than two terms in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, he remarked that there were \u2018loopholes\u2019 that could see him stay in office, and when further asked about this by reporters, he said: \u201cI\u2019d rather not discuss that now, but as you know, there are some loopholes that have been discussed that are well known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t believe in loopholes. I don\u2019t believe in using loopholes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the possibility of her uncle running for a third term, Mary said: \u201cThat\u2019s what Donald certainly has in mind. It\u2019s not about whether or not he\u2019ll run. It\u2019s about whether or not he\u2019ll leave. It\u2019s more likely that he\u2019ll just say, \u2018I\u2019m president for life and I\u2019m not going anywhere\u2019.
